OK, like the previous month, I have increased the daily target steps to be achieved in addition to going to the gym.
Target: Mon - Sat (27days): 7,500 steps daily
Target: Sunday (4days): 5,000 steps daily
so going by the above target, this will get me to 2,22,500 steps for the month.
In addition to the no of steps to cover, I have also kept a target of 1,240 heart points (40 a day). WHO recommends a person to achieve 150 heart points in a week.
So, going by what I have achieved in the month,
Walking: 2,48,436 steps (exceeded the target by 25,936 steps
Heart Points: 1,240 (exceeded the target by 35 points)
So, I started to go to the gym within our community from 2nd March, under the guidance of Varun. So, I used to do the below
- Warmups: Breathing, Neck, 2 leg squats, shoulder rotation.
- Elliptical Trainer (started with .3kms in 5mins and progressed to .8kms in 9m 30s)
- Hip Twists (50 x 3 sets = 150 sets)
- Push-ups (from an abysmal 3 per set, progressed to 8, 7 and 7 - 23 in all)
- Weights exercise for Shoulder, chest, arms.
So, in all March was very good and had enjoyed it so well,
